Belleman’s Church is one of the oldest houses of worship in Berks County, and it dates back to 1746. Our two congregations are the United Church of Christ and Lutheran. We first provided worship services in a log cabin, then moved to the historic Old Church (found on the About us page), and now we worship together in the present building which was originally built in 1924 (pictured left).
The two congregations formed a shared ministry and called one pastor in 2003. Since then we have maintained two congregational identities and one pastor serving both congregations. We worship together in unified services, serve our Lord through united choirs, youth group and committees made up of both congregations. Welcome to Salem Belleman's Church!

We are proud to host Boy Scout Troop 154.
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character.

Mission Team
We are committed to reaching out to our community and the world with Christ’s love in many ways. Each year we have up to three mission trips traveling to different parts of the United States to help in rebuilding communities. See photos from the latest mission trip.
Lift Youth
From washing cars to touring Gettysburg on a bike and everything in between, Belleman's Church Youth with a Mission offers a wide variety of fun and educational events for all youth.
Sunday School
Nursery Class welcomes any children birth to age 3
Primary Classes meet on the second floor above the chapel.
Level One - 4 & 5 year olds
Level Two - 6 & 7 year olds
Level Three - 8 & 9 year olds
For Our Youth: These classes will all have an opening in the Sanctuary
Pre-Confirmation Class for 10 & 11 year olds
Confirmation Class taught by Pastor Blitch.
Post Confirmation Class:

Coffee Talk (Adult Discussion)
Adult Sunday School will continue to be held in the Sanctuary.
